Peer Review Policy

The Wah Academia Journal of Health and Nutrition (WAJHN) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of scholarly publishing through a rigorous and transparent double-blind peer review process. All manuscripts submitted to WAJHN undergo the following review stages:

1. Initial Editorial Screening

  • Every submission is first screened by the editorial office to ensure compliance with the journal’s author guidelines, ethical standards, and scope.

  • Manuscripts that do not meet the journal’s basic requirements may be returned to the author before peer review.

2. Reviewer Selection

  • Each manuscript is assigned to at least two independent expert reviewers.

  • Reviewers are external to the journal’s editorial board to maintain impartiality and objectivity.

  • Selection is based on subject-matter expertise, research background, and absence of conflicts of interest.

3. Double-Blind Review Process

  • WAJHN follows a double-blind system, meaning that both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to each other.

  • Reviewers evaluate the manuscript for: originality, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, clarity of presentation, relevance, and contribution to the field of health and nutrition.

    • Accept as is

    • Minor revisions required

    • Major revisions required

  • In cases of conflicting reviews, an additional reviewer may be invited to ensure fairness.

6. Transparency & Ethics
