Statement on the Use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI)
The Wah Academia Journal of Health and Nutrition (WAJHN) upholds transparency, accountability, and research integrity in all scholarly submissions. The journal supports the responsible and ethical use of generative artificial intelligence (AI) tools to assist authors in improving clarity, structure, and language quality—provided such use is clearly disclosed.
Disclosure Requirement:
Authors must specify in their manuscripts whether and how AI tools were used, naming the specific software and describing its role (for example, in language editing, summarization, or visualization). This disclosure should appear in the Acknowledgment or Methodology section.
Accountability:
AI tools cannot be listed as authors and bear no responsibility for the accuracy or originality of the content. Authors are solely accountable for verifying all material generated or refined with AI and for ensuring compliance with the journal’s ethical standards.
Misuse Policy:
The use of AI for fabricating data, producing false citations, or generating misleading or plagiarized material is strictly prohibited. Such actions will be considered violations of publication ethics in accordance with COPE and international best practices.
WAJHN’s policy seeks to promote innovation while preserving academic honesty, scientific credibility, and the integrity of the research process.
